Dan Timmer is a life-long resident of the Holland/Zeeland/Hamilton  area. He performed as a percussionist with the Holland Symphony Orchestra for over  twenty-four years and sang a number of years in the Holland Chorale. This is his  eighth year as timpanist for the Zeeland Civic Chorus. Married with four children and  a granddaughter, Dan is co-owner of Mechanical Transplanter Company in Holland,  Michigan.
